The One Who Makes the Path

When Neeti-ji entered the CHT course at HSCI in 2020, the US pathway for a fully credentialed Hindu chaplain did not exist. No Hindu candidate had yet completed the GTU chaplaincy program. APC and BCCI had not yet recognized Hindu credentials. There was no Hindu Chaplaincy Guide on any shelf.

Six years later, through her determined engagement with HSCI and GTU, Neeti-ji stands at the top of a ladder she helped build. Every rung was a first for Hindu chaplaincy in the US, and she held an HSCI staff role the whole way up.

Neeti-ji learned and served at every rung. All of us at HSCI celebrate her.
