Hindu Tradition at Work
We conceived and started HSCI in 2018 to put the Hindu tradition to work.
For this we chose spiritual care and chaplaincy as the vehicle. With humility and pride we now conclude the 2025-26 academic year for the 8th cohort. It has been a year of remarkable achievements for the HSCI team. This Kutumba issue has papers and notes authored by Gaurav ji, Usha ji and Ashok ji that highlight the new courses, enhanced curriculum and new services and partnerships.
We signed an agreement with the prestigious seven Claremont colleges to provide Hindu chaplaincy services to their students.

We have also begun the preparations for a Hindu-centric CPE course as an affiliate of CPEI, and BCCI recognition has given HSCI another crucial mechanism to support Chaplaincy Board applicants.
Our MOU with South African SAHMS and VHPA in the US significantly widens our reach for students, service providers and seekers alike. Our GTU relationship is robust as ever.
