Each year, the Hindu Spiritual Care Institute (formerly Hindu Community Institute) publishes a graduation souvenir celebrating the accomplishments of its CHT and HCP scholars. These souvenirs document the growth of a unique service-learning institution — from its inaugural class of 20 in 2019 to over 200 graduates across six countries by 2024.
From its founding in 2018 in Silicon Valley, HSCI (formerly HCI) has grown into a global institution training Hindu counselors and chaplains across the US, Canada, India, Australia, South Africa, and the UK. The CHT and HCP courses, combined with GTU's Interreligious Chaplaincy Program, represent the first clear pathway to Hindu chaplaincy education worldwide.
